Capitalism and the Destruction of Human Potential

Capitalism is often praised as the system that rewards hard work, innovation, and ambition. We are told it is the best way to unlock human potential, to lift people out of poverty, and to create opportunity. Yet the reality is the exact opposite. Capitalism doesn’t free people; it traps them. It shackles billions into a needless survival struggle, forcing the vast majority to waste their energy scrambling for basic needs instead of realising what they are capable of.
