I don’t see the usefulness of these suddenly important, expensive, wasteful, secretive “data centers” other than for torture, enslavement and extermination of the many by the capitalistic few.
Our favourite positive example is they are already being used to phase out animal testing and for medical diagnostics saving lives. These are areas where the technology can be used responsibly. The worst example we can think of is Musks X app users generating child pornography. We need regulation and scrutiny now, but we do not need to throw the baby out with the bath water.
