We’ve all heard the slogans. “Red meat is bad, but chicken is healthy.” “Everything in moderation.” “Just eat a balanced diet.” These are the myths people cling to, repeated by advertisers, parroted by governments, and nodded along to by doctors too hesitant to say otherwise.
